Dry Cleaning Pickup and Delivery in Ponte Vedra Beach: How It Actually Works
No counter, no parking, no 6 PM dash before closing. What happens between the moment you book a Ponte Vedra dry cleaning pickup and the moment your suit comes back.
The reason most people keep a pile of dry cleaning in a corner of the closet is not the price. It is the two trips: one to drop it off during business hours, one to pick it up during business hours, both of them in a car, both of them on a day you had other plans.
Pickup and delivery removes the trips. Here is exactly how it runs in Ponte Vedra Beach, step by step, including the parts that are less convenient than the marketing usually admits.
Step 1 — You book a window, not a day
Two pickup windows, seven days a week: 9 to 11 AM and 6 to 9 PM. You choose the window, the address and the service. Booking takes about two minutes online, or you can call 424-441-3006 or message 954-900-9969 on WhatsApp if you would rather talk to someone.
The evening window exists because of commuters. If you work in Jacksonville and get home at six, the morning slot is useless to you, and a service that only collects between nine and five is a service you will stop using by the third week.
Step 2 — The bag goes out, you do not have to be there
Leave it at the door, with the concierge, at the front desk, or with whoever is home. Add the gate code or the access instructions when you book — Sawgrass, Marsh Landing, the Nocatee villages and the gated streets off A1A all work the same way, and the driver handles it from there.
You do not need to separate anything or bag items individually. A mixed bag is normal: dry cleaning, wash & fold and a comforter can travel together. We separate it at collection and price each piece under the right service.
Step 3 — Say what matters at pickup
This is the part people skip, and it is the part that decides whether a garment comes back right. Thirty seconds in the booking notes is worth more than any after-the-fact complaint:
- Point out stains, and say what caused them if you know. Red wine, sunscreen, grass and blood all come out differently, and the wrong first attempt can set a stain permanently.
- Flag anything delicate: silk, beading, leather trim, a vintage piece, a garment with a sentimental value no price covers.
- Say if a garment must not be pressed, or must be returned on a hanger rather than folded.
- Tell us if something is still damp, which happens with beach towels and swimwear and should not sit in a closed bag.
Step 4 — The part that is not instant
Dry cleaning is never same-day in this zone, and we do not announce a return date at pickup. The return time is confirmed once your pieces are actually ready.
That is deliberate. A dry cleaning order is a physical process in a plant we do not own, and a garment that needs a second pass on a stain needs a second pass. Quoting Thursday at the door and calling on Thursday to move it to Saturday is worse than saying honestly that we will confirm when it is done. If you need something for a specific date, say so at booking and send it early.
Wash & fold is the opposite: 24 to 48 hours, scheduled at booking. Same-Day Wash & Fold is $65 for up to 15 lbs, then $2.75 a pound, collected in the morning and back that evening. If the deadline is tonight and the garment can be washed rather than dry cleaned, that is the service you want.
Step 5 — It comes back
Dry cleaning returns on hangers, covered. Wash & fold returns folded. Bedding comes back folded and bagged separately from clothes. You pick a return window the same way you picked the pickup window, and the driver can leave it at the door or hand it to the front desk.
What it costs
Dry cleaning is per item in this zone: $10 a dress shirt or polo, $12 pants, $15 a suit jacket or blouse, $25 a 2-piece suit, $20 a dress, $39 a formal dress, $36 a coat. There is no minimum order — one jacket is a legitimate pickup, which is the whole point of not having to drive anywhere.
Wash & fold is $45 for up to 15 lbs, then $2.50 a pound. If your household sends laundry out regularly, Ghost Members is $95 every 4 weeks for 50 lbs with unlimited pickups, then $2 a pound beyond. A 12% handling and transportation fee applies to every order.
Where we collect
Ponte Vedra Beach and Palm Valley, Nocatee, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Jacksonville Southside — Deerwood, Baymeadows, Bartram Park and the blocks around St. Johns Town Center. Same route, same grid, same windows. If your street is new or your building unusual, call before you book and we will confirm rather than guess.
FAQ — pickup and delivery in Ponte Vedra Beach
Do I have to be home for the pickup?
No. Leave the bag at the door, with the concierge or at the front desk, and add any access or gate instructions when you book.
Can you get into gated communities?
Yes. Add the gate code or access instructions at booking. We serve Sawgrass, Marsh Landing, the Nocatee villages and other gated neighborhoods routinely.
What are the pickup windows?
9 to 11 AM and 6 to 9 PM, seven days a week, including weekends.
How long does dry cleaning take?
It is never same-day here, and we do not quote a date at pickup. We confirm the return time when your pieces are ready. Send anything date-critical early and tell us the deadline at booking.
Can I mix dry cleaning with regular laundry in one bag?
Yes, and most people do. Say so at booking; we separate the bag at collection and price each item under the correct service.
Is there a minimum?
No minimum on dry cleaning. Wash & fold starts at $45 for up to 15 lbs, so very small loads are better combined.
How do I pay?
Online, on the order. You see the price of the items before the order is finalised, and the 12% handling and transportation fee is shown rather than buried.
